This year DeSales had a record number of prospective students attend the Bulldog Bash. Over 330 families attended the event that was held in Billera Hall. Senior theatre and communication majors, Eliza Martin and Chris Stevens emceed the event that was themed as “The Golden Age of Hollywood.” As has become customary at the Bulldog Bash, some of the prospective students in attendence were given the chance to play a game with Dr. Gerry Joyce, Vice President of Student Affairs. The prizes ranged from a pack of pens to a $5000 Character U scholarship, which was won by a student. Also a re-occuring theme at Bulldog Bash is giving small scholarships to every prospective student who attends the event. This year the scholarship award was for $500 for their first year at DeSales.
